Gregory Popovich and His Comedy Pet Theater Return To Las Vegas!

After traveling the country for several months, we are excited to announce that Gregory Popovich has returned to Las Vegas and of course has brought along his world-famous Comedy Pet Theater! Known throughout Vegas as the most beloved family show in town, there is much more to this spectacular show than most people realize. We want to give you an inside look at what makes Popovich Comedy Pet Theater both entertaining and educational.

Gregory Popovich is more than just a world champion juggler and animal trainer. He is also an advocate for the adoption and caring of shelter animals. Popovich believes that every animal has it’s own personality and those that are left in shelter need to be given a second chance and the chance to show the world just how incredible they can be. His bond with animals goes beyond that of the ones that we have with our pets. He treats each animals he rescues and puts in his act like family and has a unique relationship with each one so he knows their personalities and is able to teach them tricks that showcase their already amazing talents. He has the ability to turn any animal into a Las Vegas headliner.

Once his furry co-stars are ready for the big time he introduces them into the show and lets them strut their stuff. Cats, dogs, birds and everything in between can be seen in Comedy Pet Theater. In addition to the animals, Popovich also gets a chance to showcase his own skills as a performer. Growing up in a family of circus artists, he quickly learned juggling and some acrobatics and had a very successful solo act. He went on to win numerous awards and competitions and eventually added animals into the mix. The result was a show that was both stunning and inspiring.

Comedy Pet Theater is one of the many family-friendly shows that have been popping up in Vegas the last few years. Don’t miss your chance to see this incredible show and give your family an experience that will last a lifetime.

These Are Elvis Presley Impersonators You Have To Hear

We all know that Elvis was The King, but these Elvis Presley impersonators have taken his legacy and continued it for an entirely new generation. What makes these tributes so special, is that they are presented by some of the most unlikely people. While there are surely thousands of impersonators out there, theseare some of the most unique.

Elvis Presley Impersonators Come From All Over The World

Back in 2007 ‘The Worlds Greatest Elvis’ Competition hit the stage and hundreds of Elvis Presley impersonators auditioned to be given the title as Worlds Greatest. One of those hopefuls was Pennsylvania native, Shawn Klush. Shawn has been an Elvis fan since childhood. As he grew up and started impersonating his hero, people told him he should enter competitions. After winning several local awards he made his way to Vegas. There he spent time as one of the top Elvis Presley impersonators in the hit show ‘Legends In Concert’. He rose to worldwide recognition when he won the Worlds Greatest Elvis competition.

Elvis really made a name for himself when it came to performing in Las Vegas. When you go there now, you can not walk down the street without seeing at least a dozen different Elvis Presley impersonators. Even in the hotels, you will find plenty of tribute artists paying homage to The King. One of the best is known as “Big Elvis”, Peter Vallee. Vallee has been singing like Elvis since age 13 and is currently starring in his own show “Big Elvis” that plays nightly at Harrah’s Piano Bar.

 Some Unlikely Elvis Presley Impersonators

John Stamos. Yeah, that John Stamos. He also donned the look of The King in a classic episode of the hit TV series, Full House. His character, Jesse, was even named after Elvis’ twin brother! Now, we all know that John Stamos never continued his career as an Elvis Presley impersonator, but he did go on to be one of the most recognizable faces of the 90′s. Who knows, maybe we will see him reprise his role one more time. Until then, all we have is this very funny video clip.

Hows this for an interesting twist? The former Prime Minister of Japan, Junichiro Koizumi cites Elvis as one of his personal heroes and was beside himself when he got the chance to be at the singer’s former home while spending the day with former President, George W. Bush. At one point during the day he sang a few lines from “Love Me Tender” and even busted a few moves. It certainly was the most interesting tribute we have seen in a long time.

Who are some of your favorite Elvis Presley Impersonators?

Why Take A History Class? Learn About Vegas In Spectacular Fashion!

History Classes Are Boring

Let’s be honest. History class was not a school favorite. Sure, there were some that loved it but if you are like me, you sat there wondering if there was a more exciting way for the information to be presented. For those who grew up living in Las Vegas they got to see the city change with the times. For those who lived out of state, they may have had a little bit of local history, but a lot of it is American history. What people may not realize is that in addition to the importance of the major events in American history there have been certain towns that defined the regions they are located in. For the Southwestern United States one of those towns was Las Vegas.

From Sand and Rocks to Gambling and Hotels

I don’t want to sit here and go on and on about how the town started as a settlement for travelers and eventually turned into a fairly decent watering hole for those going further west to mine for gold. Then of course there was the expansion and the eventual construction of the first hotel and casino. The legalization of gambling led to vacationers eventually making it a hot spot. Eventually there was a growth in the towns size thanks to a hefty contribution from some…. “businessmen” in the area. But enough about all that. You probably know Vegas as the mega-resort, entertainment, magic and overall party capital of the world. What gets most people is just how Vegas went from this quiet desert town, to a city that never sleeps. Rather than sit through a boring presentation or some type of class that you have to take a test on, there is one show, among all of the ones that dot the famous Las Vegas Strip, that will give you a look into that history but do it in a way that keeps you on the edge of your seat. Welcome to, VEGAS! the Show.

Learn About Vegas In Spectacular Fashion

Learn about the rich history of Sin City, but instead of reading words on a page, you are watching the history unfold before your eyes, live on stage. Imagine if every class you took in college had showgirls dancing around the room, or your professors were dressed in full suits. It would make things a bit more interesting wouldn’t it? VEGAS! the Show showcases the evolution of Las Vegas and it not only teaches you where things were and where they are going, but it does so in such a way you can not help but be captivated. We all know by now that Vegas has made its reputation on showcasing some of the most fascinating and sinful entertainment in the world. In VEGAS! the Show, you get to actually re-live the moment that made the town what it is today. It truly is a one-of-a-kind spectacular experience complete with everything that makes Vegas… Vegas!

Learn about Vegas the only way it should be taught, with flare, style glitz and glamour. VEGAS! the Show is perfect for everyone. Unlike the feeling you had after you had to write that 20 page history paper on a Saturday, you will not be disappointed. Get your tickets for VEGAS! the Show and see what it’s all about.

The Beatles Take The Stage Again In: BeatleShow!

Much like humans, music has been evolving since its earliest known incarnation. There have been countless eras defined by particular genres that have gone on to shape the very world we know. Music is a powerful tool of expression that can be used to overcome almost anything. You can even break down regions of the world based on the music that originated there. You can connect music to almost anything. What makes us unique is our love for different types of music. We may like a certain band because their lyrics may mean something special or they may have gotten us through rough times. We may be drawn to a particular style of music because it reminds us of simpler times. It all depends on the person, but one thing is for certain; there is plenty of music to go around.

One of the most important moments in music history occurred in the 60′s when the Beatles arrived from the UK. At the time they arrived, the rock and roll scene in America was growing and looking for that next big push. Before the Beatles hit the States they had taken Europe by storm with a national tour, hit records and thousands of fans. They were now hoping to hit the big time in America and little did they know they would do that and more. From the moment they arrived, Beatlemania was in full effect. Millions and millions of people watched them on national television skyrocketing them to one of the hottest acts in the country. Before long they had a slew of number one singles and were well on their way to becoming one of the biggest rock and roll acts the world had ever seen. As the times changed so did the music. Slowly their songwriting got more in depth and tackled some serious issues. The musical style shifted to a more progressive style, experimenting with new sounds and different instruments as well. There was no escaping the Beatles popularity. They really were everywhere you looked. TV, radio, movies they became the faces of rock and roll. As time wore on the stresses of touring and producing music at such a rate began to take it’s toll and the band eventually parted ways. Their legacy had already been cemented in time and they had left their mark on popular culture for decades to come. Even today, millions of people buy their records and cover the hits of the greatest rock band in music history.

Ever since the Beatles disbanded there have been countless tribute bands, shows and productions dedicated to carrying on the legacy they had left behind. From local cover bands to nationally touring musicals to hit Broadway plays. In a town like Las Vegas, which was built on the success of entertainment, there is one show that pays tribute to The Beatles by recreating their concert experience for today’s audience. BeatleShow is the most authentic Beatles concert experience you will find in Las Vegas. Located inside the Saxe Theater, BeatleShow features a group of the best Beatle musicians in the world performing all of the hits, live. Featuring all of their hits from every one of their top selling albums, Beatles fans young and old will not believe their eyes (and ears) as each era of Beatles music is represented on stage. BeatleShow is the best way to relive the music of the Beatles in Las Vegas!

Now You Can Check Out Michael Jackson Live In Tribute Royalty!

Michael Jackson is The Worlds Number 1 Recording Artist!

The worlds number 1 recording artist, most awarded single male artists of all time, record holder for most top ten hits on a single album, if you are still wondering who we are talking about at this point then what rock have you been living under? Michael Jackson is undeniably one of the greatest artists to ever emerge into modern society. Not only did the man rise from some of the most brutal conditions imaginable, he weathered some of the most tumultuous times any pop-star had ever seen! Indeed while Michael’s life was without a doubt the definition of hard, he never once denied that his childhood abuse helped get him to where he was, attributing his entire success to his father’s vigilance and strict management. While humility was one of Michaels greatest personality traits, it would be his charitable nature and absolute stage presence that would land him in the annals of history as one of the greatest artists ever born.

Early in his career, Michael experienced a pretty hefty amount of success at a young age. As part of the Jackson 5, they were responsible for some of the greatest hits of the 70’s including “ABC” and “Dancing Machine!” But these successes would be responsible for an explosion of fame that would hit every member of the Jackson 5, but none more so than M.J. himself! As the 80’s dawned onto the unsuspecting world, there was one man who stood tall and made himself unforgettable. In 1979 Jackson had already released the well received album “Off the wall” but the attention gained from that album would be nothing compared to musical powerhouse that was about to change the world. That album was none other than Thriller, and it did more for Michael Jackson than anything else in his entire career.

Michael Jackson’s Legacy

Through the next few years Michael Jacksons reign of Pop supremacy would only grow larger, in the mid 80’s Jackson took a business note from the famous Beatle Paul McCartney. While just years earlier McCartney had turned down the opportunity to buy the Beatles song catalogue, Jackson saw it is as a huge investment opportunity and jumped on the chance. Soon after his acquisition of Northern Songs catalogue, Michael would hammer out a deal that saw him earn the largest percentage of royalties any recording artists had ever seen. While making savvy business moves was common for M.J., what was more common was his affinity for charity. By the 90’s Michael Jackson would have donated tens of millions of dollars to various charity organizations, including a California hospital which would rename the burn ward after him.

As the 90’s chugged on Michael Jacksons legacy was strewn with unconfirmed allegations and rumors abound of his obsession with cosmetic surgery and his appearance. While all the rumors were nothing more than that, rumors, M.J. still took the brunt of public opinion for a short time, but never truly lost his immortal status among society. As his finances and career began to take a dark turn towards the 2000’s, Michael Jackson managed to release one more album of original content, one more album that would also prove to be his last. As his reputation continued to go up and down, one thing never changed, and that was that M.J. was an artist first. But while preparing to stun the world with a legendary comeback tour, tragedy had struck. Michael Jackson was then forever immortalized in the hearts and minds of the world, and it seemed all those small problems and misconceptions stemming from his past completely disappeared.

The legend had moved on, but not without leaving legions of heartbroken fans and friends in his wake. Now he lives on through the very songs that made him a hero, while he will always be remembered for almost unreal stage presence and dance moves, nobody will forget the struggle that helped create one of the greatest singers and artists the world has ever known.

Experience Michael Jackson Only At Tribute Royalty!

Now at V Theater you can re-live the stage presence that changed the world, in Tribute Royalty you will enjoy a night with three of the most groundbreaking artists of the 20th century, including Lady Gaga, Elvis Presley and of course Michael Jackson! Dean Martin’s “Golddigger Girls” Helped Redefine Entertainment in Sin City!

the Golddiggers

The 60’s were a magical time in the city of Las Vegas, you had some of the most iconic singers and entertainers to ever walk the earth yelling “I Love This City!” almost every single night. The lure was one of glitz and glam as celebrities, politicians and the everyday Joe could all be found reveling in the debauchery of smoke and drinks in one of the towns early historical casino’s or hot-spots. As stars gathered from all around to marry, party and just get away, a group of girls rose to the occasion of entertaining the stars themselves!

Their names were “The Golddiggers” and of all Las Vegas’ dance troupes, these showgirls took the title of most beautiful and most wanted! Mostly consisting of young women, the troupe was one for the brightest new dancers in Vegas to show off their skills and get noticed in a time when Vegas was always looking for new talent. With anywhere from four to thirteen members appearing on stage at any one time, they would always perform in the iconic style of the Sin City showgirl.

The group was created as an act for the Dean Martin Show, but it didn’t take long for these vixens to steal the spotlight as they soon after became known for starring in their own TV show. The girls not only joined Dean on the show, but they accompanied him along his regular acts, quickly becoming as iconic as Dino martini himself! In 1968 the girls made themselves a new name by joining Bob Hope on his USO sponsored Christmas tour of US Military bases.  The Show ended up being NBC’s highest rating program three years in a row. In 1970 the troupe landed a full time gig as members of The Dean Martin Show.

In 1971 things took a better turn as the girls would be given their own self titled program for two seasons until its end in 1973. The group was recast soon after and continued the legacy of the original Golddiggers by performing on various Dean Martin TV specials and programs all the way up until Deans retirement in the early 90’s.

Ever since the early 90’s the original members and new ones alike have continued the legendary troupe by performing for Special parties and ceremonies and occasionally starring in shows for charity and good causes. The original Dean Martin girls are still around to this day and serve as a living reminder of the good days in Vegas, showing off the one of a kind style that still to this day gave Sin City its unique flavor and appeal.

While you may no longer be able to see “The Golddiggers” headlining their own shows, you can live out as much nostalgia as you can handle in the only show in Vegas about Vegas! So don’t miss out on your chance to catch a slice of Entertainment history and take a glimpse into a time that was much shinier than today, get your tickets to “VEGAS! the Show” today!

Take a Look at Broadway Star and Singing Sensation, Reva Rice!

While VEGAS! the Show may put some of the country’s finest talents on stage, one humble star shines uniquely from the rest , and her name is Reva Rice! Humble, talented and most of all beautiful, Reva is one of the lead voices in the only show in Vegas about Vegas. But while her singing career may have started a little later than most, Reva found her passion for entertaining at a very young age. At only 5 years old she began taking lessons for piano and dancing and would find herself going to the Boston Conservatory of Music right out of high-school.

Born in Toledo, Ohio, Reva’s jump to the historical Boston Conservatory of Music indicated from the get-go a talented and passionate woman ready to make a name. The Conservatory itself was historically known for putting together the very first production put on by an African American Theater company, also the schools founder, Julius Eichberg, was responsible for putting together America’s first all female quartet!

With such inspiring roots it’s no wonder Reva through her natural charisma managed to land a spot in the great Andrew Lloyd Webbers hit musical, “The Starlight Express”. Claiming her singing was not yet up to the standard she would have liked, Webber made the role particularly with Reva in mind as he wrote the songs attributed to her part at her approval. Reva would successfully participate in the Broadway Run, a few years later in the National tour and from there she would be invited for a later London Run of the production. As the show kept moving forward Reva Rice confidently says the lead role was more and more fine-tuned to fit her particular personality.

As the show experienced phenomenal success, Reva was propelled to the top of the theater world in an instant and would easily be remembered at the heart of the role she helped originate. But her singing would be honed by her time with the famous musical and by the time she landed a role as the original Velma Kelley in the hit first production of Chicago.

Reva Rice

As the years moved on, Reva would find herself front and center for the brand new musical being put together by Oprah Winfrey, “The Color Purple”. In this show, Reva’s outstanding voice would be showcased in not only one, but two separate parts thanks to the singing that helped put Starlight Express on the forefront of everybody’s thoughts! While she would tour nationally with the show it would give her a chance to work with singing sensation Fantasia, winner of the 2004 American Idol contest!

While touring with the show though, Reva would receive a call from one of her good friends of nearly 16 years, Tiger Martina. Tiger would offer Reva a chance to star in one of the most humble and emotionally driven musicals in Sin City, VEGAS! the Show! Saying yes, Reva would see herself back off to Las Vegas to do just what she does best in the town that loves her most!

Reva Rice is undeniably one of the most talented voices in the industry, so don’t miss your chance to see her give tribute to some of the greatest performers who helped define an age of Vegas the world still fondly looks back to, and get your tickets to VEGAS! the Show today! Only at Saxe Theater!

Elisa Furr is one of the lead stars and singers of iCandy The Show, but her singing career wasn’t always as bright as it is today. She had a young start compared to most, at only 17 years old she had managed to land a gig in Memphis Tennessee where she would settle after deciding to dedicate her career to singing. While in Memphis, Elisa got to know some key players in the local blues industry, and after landing a gig on the famous Rock & Roll spot “Beale Street”, she would end up meeting long time friend and fellow recording artists Kevin Paige. During her time performing on Beale Street, Elisa showcased her awesome talents to thousands of listeners as many came to love her classic roots and style. For years Elisa would rock the crowds of Beale Street until a chance meeting would send her well on her way to stardom.

Having been introduced to Steve Perry, the lead singer of Journey, and Paul Taylor from the band Winger, Elisa would soon land a once in a lifetime opportunity to pack her bags and head for Hollywood! In 1996 Elisa would make her way to the heart of Los Angeles and with plenty of opportunities to expand her singing and songwriting career, Elisa had made it to the proving grounds! As time went on Elisa would successfully create over thousands of catchy jingles and tunes that would end up appearing on nearly 1,000 T.V. shows and even in 5 feature films. With a few years of Hollywood and a professional songwriting career under her belt, Elisa would soon take a vacation to Las Vegas that would further expand her dreams of where she wanted to be. It was here in Vegas Elisa learned of a number of huge opportunities that could not be found anywhere else in the world!

Elisa was constantly reassured by a confident agent that she would make it big in Vegas without a doubt. Trusting in this boastful ally, she set off ready to see her name on the Las Vegas Strip. Upon arriving in Sin City, Elisa immediately landed a new spot performing in showrooms at the Paris Hotel and Casino. She would be so well received that less than a year later, Elisa would be featured as the star singer and lead showgirl for the long running and historic adult revue, “Jubilee” at Ballys. After mass amounts of success in the historic Jubilee, Elisa would soon find the draw that would lead her to some of her biggest roles in Vegas yet. Nowadays Elisa is the classic “self-contained” artist, utilizing her knowledge of music production she has embarked on a journey to solidify not only her solo singing career, but others as well! Country Superstars has recently made one of the biggest moves in the show’s history, coming from the Golden Nugget to the famous V Theater in Planet Hollywood. The move helped to propel the show to new heights as all the fantastic tribute stars prove they are as talented as their imagined counterparts! If you are not familiar with Country Superstars, it’s a show displaying the talents of the some of America’s greatest country stars, from the before the Sound-scan era and beyond it: Tim McGraw, Garth Brooks, Willie Nelson, Miranda Lambert, Reba McEntyre and more! Every night the cast rotates so you get a different show no matter when you go!

Tucker’s McGraw tribute includes hits such as “I Love It, I Like It,” “Don’t Take the Girl,” “Live Like You Were Dying,” “Felt Good on My Lips” and “Real Good Man.”

Adam portrays McGraw with the fervor of a fan though, claiming he’s been a huge fan since McGraw’s early days and the release of his first hit single in 1992. “I’m a huge, huge fan,” Tucker asserts. “It has nothing to do about me tryin’ to be someone else. I honestly love singing Tim McGraw music every night, and I honestly love hearing every Tim McGraw song on the radio. I’ll be that way until the day I die.”

Tucker claims his McGraw voice came naturally, and over the past 2 years he has attended McGraw shows for “business” purposes to help his act out. Tucker launched his singing career in 2003, he says after he attended a country tribute show he deemed the McGraw tribute to be lacking. Noting how angry he was, he decided he was going to try and do it better! After a few years of making the rounds and recording original tracks, Adam would soon hit the next level. In 2005 he would end up as an opening act in Nashville landing auditions, recording demos, and after a couple years of successes Adam finally put together his dream McGraw act.
